Our New Fan Club Contest Starts Now

Congratulations to Adriana M., who knew that "Evil Ways" was Carlos Santana’s first song to crack the top 10 charts. Adriana has won herself a copy of Guitar Hero 5, which features the song “No One To Depend On.”

Our next Fan Club subscribers-only contest starts right now! You must be a Fan Club subscriber to submit your answer to the below trivia question. You can submit your answer by logging into your Fan Club account and filling out the form on our Contests page.

Question: In 1969, Carlos Santana played at a legendary music festival, which resulted in a recording contract with Columbia Records. What was the name of that festival?

Those who answer this question correctly will be entered into a draw to win our next prize – another copy of Guitar Hero 5 for Playstation 2 and 3, Ninetendo Wii and Xbox 360.

As stated above, and as has always been throughout the history of the Fan Club, these contests are for Fan Club subscribers only. None of the people who have commented above are subscribers, so that's why you cannot see the proper form to submit your answer.

Being able to enter these contests is a specific benefit of being a subscriber.

Hope that helps clear things up a bit.

I'm with all the above. I sign in as instructed but cannot get anything on the contests page. Do I have to pay $30.00 to play the trivia contest?
"Woodstock" by the way.
I hope the questions get more difficult.

I'm with everyone above--can't connect to the contest page, and I am a subscriber!  WOODSTOCK is the correct answer, but I'm sure it's too late to post.

Gloria, you are not listed as a subscriber in our database. If this is incorrect, please email help@SantanaFanClub.com and we can sort it out, but that's the reason you aren't seeing the contest form.

The same is true for oyecomova, you are not listed as a subscriber, so that's why you cannot see the page, it is not a problem with the site itself.

Anyone who wishes to purchase a subscription can do so by visiting our Store - www.santanafanclub.com/store

To Mr. Carlos Santana:

I saw you the other weekend at the DTE in Detroit.  An amazing show - even better than when I saw you back in the 80's - you are even more amazing!!

And Happy Birthday Mr. Santana - thank you so very much for the music (and your tone!)

I took my son to see you and he was amazed with your playing and style.  I bought him a PRS a while ago and he realized how awesome you could play it.

Thank you for making my life so complete with your music and being able to share it with my son.
